Why buy pork from us?

First off, we are all about wagging curly piggy tails. In pig life, when the tails are curled, life is good. Contentment, happiness, and curiosity are the vibe we want our pigs to embody. Animal welfare is important to us, and we ensure our pigs are not crowded; they enjoy fresh air, sunshine, treats, backrubs with the rotobrush, fresh water, and feeds that are grown, dried, ground, and picked up locally. This commitment to animal welfare extends to our partnership with a local butcher who shares our values. Sounds cliché, or maybe market hype-y, but it's how we roll. We like pigs. They are like little puppies at the beginning, friends later, and ultimately provide quality pork for us to live, as they are livestock.

Why are our pigs crazy good!?

There are a few reasons. First, we prioritize animal welfare by treating our pigs well, as mentioned before. Our pigs enjoy both indoor and outdoor areas, which not only makes them happy but also encourages them to get some exercise. Secondly, we aim to butcher at a heavier weight of around 300lbs, allowing for larger cuts of quality pork that are well-marbled, creating maximum yumminess. Thirdly, we work with a local butcher, so you can request the exact cuts you want. Ever had a French cut loin chop, cut to an inch and a half, and cooked to perfection? Beautiful!

Is there a difference in the meat?

Yes, at first glance, you will notice a more reddish-pink color to the quality pork before cooking, along with enhanced marbling. When you source your meat from a local butcher who prioritizes animal welfare, the results speak for themselves. While cooking, the smell will be more robust, and finally, once cooked, you will notice a richer, more nuanced flavor, along with a better texture to the meat. I dare you to compare!
